Job summary

Lindquist Machine Co., LLC, a diversified manufacturer, is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our in-office team in Wisconsin. You will maintain the general ledger, assist with month-end close, process bi-weekly payroll, and support audits and management reporting.

Ideal candidates have a accounting degree, 2+ years of experience, familiarity with ADP Workforce Now and Epicor ERP, and strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 2+ years of accounting experience preferred.
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now and Epicor ERP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger and prepare journal entries.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and assist with cash management.

What You'll Do

In this role, you'll keep our books accurate, help close the month on time and run our bi-weekly payroll.

General Accounting

• Prepare and post journal entries and maintain the general ledger
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts to include; bank, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, inventory, WIP, and accrued liabilities
• Support cash management, bank reconciliations, and GAAP-compliant recordkeeping

Payroll

• Process bi-weekly payroll in ADP Workforce Now
• Review and validate employee time entries from Epicor ERP
• Coordinate new hires, terminations, pay changes, and deductions with HR

Month-End & Year-End Close

• Execute close activities on schedule, prepare reconciliations and supporting schedules
• Support external audits and resolve discrepancies
• Assist with monthly financial statements and management reports
• Support variance analysis and special projects

What You Bring

Our ideal candidate is a detail-oriented Staff Accountant who enjoys coming in to the office every day.

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2+ years of accounting experience
• Manufacturing, project-based, or job-cost accounting experience a plus
• Month-end close experience preferred
• ADP Workforce Now and Epicor ERP experience a plus
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, and communication skills
