Job summary

Atlas Search in Boston is seeking an accounting analyst to support investment accounting and reporting. The role involves hands-on bookkeeping in Advent Geneva and collaboration with the fund administrator.

You will assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles, help prepare SEC filings, and respond to audit requests. Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of accounting experience, familiarity with fund administration, and CPA or equivalent certification.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of accounting experience from a public accounting, debt investments, fund administration, or another private equity or investment management firm.
• Familiarity with Advent Geneva and other general ledger systems.
• CPA or equivalent certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Book investment activity in the firm's internal accounting system (Advent Geneva)
• Reconcile cash activity between the internal accounting system and the fund Administrator
• Assist in oversight of the accounting functions performed by the Administrator
• Assist with all accounting responsibilities within the monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles

Qualifications
