Job summary

Geneva Search Partners LLC in Chicago, IL is seeking a fund accounting professional to manage monthly and quarterly closes, investor reporting, and NAV-related processes for a premier investment management firm.

Qualifications

• 2-10 years of experience in public accounting or fund accounting.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Exposure to private equity, hedge funds, or alternative investments preferred.
• CPA or progress toward certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage fund accounting activities for private investment vehicles, including monthly/quarterly closes and investor reporting.
• Prepare and review NAV calculations, capital calls, distributions, and financial statements.
• Support waterfall calculations and performance reporting.
• Partner with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
• Coordinate with external administrators and auditors.
• Assist with process improvements as the firm scales.

What You'll Do

• Manage fund accounting activities for private investment vehicles, including monthly/quarterly closes and investor reporting
• Prepare and review NAV calculations, capital calls, distributions, and financial statements
• Support waterfall calculations and performance reporting
• Partner with internal teams (investment, operations, tax, and investor relations) to ensure accurate and timely reporting
• Coordinate with external administrators and auditors
• Assist with process improvements and initiatives as the firm continues to scale
