CrossCountry Consulting in California seeks a Managing Director to lead Accounting Advisory for public and private companies, including PE-backed portfolios. You will drive client delivery, staff projects, and contribute to leadership strategy while expanding services across the West Coast.

You will mentor teams, shape delivery methodologies, and collaborate with firm leadership to expand offerings, uphold data protection standards, and drive sustainable revenue growth.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of related advisory or controllership experience.
• 7+ years in controllership for PE-backed or growth companies (SaaS/Healthcare preferred).
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS; strong internal controls.
• Experience with ERP systems and data analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee client accounts, projects, and engagements from start to finish.
• Guide accounting close processes, financial reporting, and audit readiness.
• Drive business development and grow West Coast client base.
• Develop delivery methodologies and AI-enabled solutions.
• Mentor and develop junior staff; manage staffing and budgets.
