Job Description

The Manager is responsible for leading and managing client projects and delivering financial advisory services to clients. They work closely with Directors and Sr. Directors, as well as collaborating with other teams and service lines within the firm. This individual will provide technical accounting, purchase accounting, and ASC 606, ASC 842, and other complex accounting standard expertise. They will also supervise, coach, and mentor Senior Associates/Consultants and Associates/Consultants

  • Manage the delivery of financial advisory services ensuring high quality, accuracy, and timeliness.
  • Lead and oversee project teams, ensuring effective communication, coordination, and collaboration among team members, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and external parties, and provide them with strategic advice and solutions that meet their needs and expectations.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, through opportunity augmentation and cross-selling across other E78 practices, and support E78’s business development initiatives, by leveraging their network, expertise, and reputation.
  • Provide technical guidance, coaching, and feedback to junior staff, and foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, where everyone can learn, grow, and deliver.
  • Enhance E78’s reputation and brand by demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and excellence in service delivery, and by adhering to the firm's policies and standards.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field
  • 6-8 years of experience in financial consulting, advisory, or related services in a Big Four Audit, National Accounting, Management Consulting, or Professional Services firm and a proven track record of client delivery achievement, project management, and supervision.
  • Candidates living near E78's corporate headquarters, in Oak Brook, IL, are required to work in the office 3-4 days a week.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex and large data sets.
  • Proficient in financial modeling, valuation, and accounting principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with clients and team members at all levels.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Experience with financial software, such as Power BI and Adaptive is a plus.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented and the ability to work independently and under pressure.

Compensation:

The base salary range is $130,000 - $160,000, plus bonus and will be based on experience.
