  • M&A Readiness: Assist clients in preparing for mergers, acquisitions, or divestitures by performing financial due diligence, assessing financial systems, and ensuring readiness for post-transaction integration.
  • Turnaround Consulting: Work on financial restructuring initiatives, including liquidity management, cost-cutting strategies, and financial performance improvement for distressed businesses.
  • Financial Statement Preparation/Month-End Close: Manage and assist with monthly and quarterly close processes, including the preparation of accurate financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements), ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with client stakeholders, understanding their needs, and delivering tailored solutions that align with their business objectives.
  • Project Leadership: Lead or assist with various client projects, managing timelines, deliverables, and communication with senior leadership and clients.
  • Mentorship & Development: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior consultants and contribute to the professional development of the team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CFA preferred, but not required).
  • 2-6+ years of experience in accounting, financial advisory, consulting, or related roles, ideally within public accounting or a consulting firm preferred.
  • Experience with financial reporting, financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP) and financial statement preparation.
  • Prior experience in M&A, transaction advisory, or financial restructuring is a plus.
  • Proficient in financial software (Excel, QuickBooks, ERP systems, etc.).
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex financial data to clients in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work well within a team-oriented culture.
