Potter Global Technologies, a leading life-safety solutions provider, is seeking an Accountant to maintain GL and support month-end close. You will prepare journal entries, coordinate with auditors, and assist cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial records.

The role emphasizes GAAP adherence, strong Excel and reconciliation skills, and collaboration with operations and HR. Saint Louis, MO-based, full-time, with ownership-minded culture and growth opportunities.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience in a corporate, manufacturing, or similar environment.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and ability to analyze variances.
• Proficient Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and basic data analysis.
• Accuracy in reconciliations and financial documentation, with the ability to investigate discrepancies and meet deadlines.

Mansioni

• Maintain and reconcile assigned general ledger and balance sheet accounts.
• Prepare journal entries, standard reports, financial schedules, and supporting documentation.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities.
• Research variances, identify root causes, and support corrective actions.
• Gather documentation requested by internal and external auditors and tax partners.
