Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required.
• Up to five years’ experience in a related role is acceptable.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and accounting software; proficient in Microsoft Office; data collection and analysis skills; good verbal and written communication; attention to detail and organization.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable using accounting software and other programs
• Sales tax filings
• Unclaimed property processes and filings
• Analyze workflow processes and identify improvements
• Assist with month end close and monthly financials
• Process transactions and perform accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries and reconciling accounts
