Job summary

Delta Dental of Oklahoma is seeking a detail-oriented accounting/finance professional to support general ledger activities and administrative tasks in the Finance Department. The role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and timely data handling across multiple tasks.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance, strong Excel and MS Office skills, the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and communicate effectively with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience required.
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office is required.
• Strong analytical ability to gather and summarize data and to prioritize work.
• Ability to protect confidential information under company policies and regulations.
• Excellent ten key skills and accurate typing at 35 wpm.
• Experience with data entry at high speeds (alpha 5000 ksph; numeric 8000 ksph).
• Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of accounting guidelines and procedures.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist with general ledger functions and support the Finance Department staff.
• Perform accounting functions in accordance with standards set by the Chief Financial Officer.
