Michael Page is partnering with a growing manufacturer near Naperville, IL to hire an Accountant. You will report to the Accounting Manager and gain exposure to senior leadership with cross-functional collaboration at the C-suite level.

The role covers day-to-day accounting, month-end close, AR/AP, cash flow monitoring, treasury duties, and financial reporting, with opportunities to expand responsibilities as the company grows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or other credentials are a plus.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment required.
• Self-motivated and career-driven with a strong desire to learn and grow.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Support the Accounting Manager on day-to-day accounting functions.
• Support the month end process.
• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities.
• Review AR and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Review the balance sheet and P&L to ensure accounts are accurate and properly classified.
• Monitor cash flow and treasury needs to ensure sufficient cash is available.
• Perform account reconciliations and assist with journal entries.
• Handle ad hoc accounting projects and analysis as needed.
• Provide general support across the accounting function.

I'm currently partnered with a multi-million-dollar manufacturing organization near Naperville, Illinois, that is looking to add an Accountant to its growing team.

Reporting directly to the Accounting Manager, this role offers significant exposure to senior leadership and cross‑functional collaboration with C‑suite executives. The Accountant will support the day‑to‑day accounting operations of the business unit, including month‑end close activities, accounts receivable and accounts payable, cash flow monitoring, treasury‑related functions, and financial reporting.
