Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Solid understanding of payroll policies, wage and hour laws, and taxation of employer-paid benefits.
• Proficient user of payroll information technology systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, reviews, and analyzes monthly journal entries and reports.
• Updates payroll files and general ledger.
• Prepares and files tax and regulatory reports.
• Prepares payroll tax reporting and resolves payroll/tax issues.
• Ensures payroll accounting procedures comply with laws and policies.
• Provides records to auditors and supports payroll team.
