Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is assisting a client in Tulsa to hire a Senior Accountant for a permanent role. The position supports accounting and financial reporting, maintains accurate records, and assists with month-end and year-end closes.

You will work with management to ensure GAAP compliance and strong internal controls. The role requires 3+ years of accounting experience, a Bachelor's in Accounting, and preferably CPA or CPA candidacy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
• At least 3 years of progressive accounting experience with GAAP expertise.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems and Excel; reporting experience required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements.
• Analyze financial data and investigate account variances.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.
• Assist with audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff as needed.
