Job summary

MEPUSA, a Mitsui & Co. subsidiary, seeks an Accountant II to support corporate accounting and management reporting, handling complex accounting matters and ensuring timely financial processes.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, at least two years of financial reporting experience, and strong Excel and ERP system skills. CPA is preferred; oil and gas experience is a plus. Excellent communication and meticulous work style are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years accounting experience in a financial reporting role or with a national accounting firm.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• Experience with oil and gas industry is a plus.
• CPA, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and management reporting processes.
• Prepare and review journal entries and reconciliations.
• Conduct revenue and expenditure reviews and analysis.
• Support adherence to internal and external timelines and policies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders on significant or complex accounting areas.
• Research and apply IFRS requirements as needed.
