• 0–2 years of accounting experience (internships or oil & gas industry experience preferred).
• Strong working knowledge of Excel and accounting software is required.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Effective organizational and time management skills; ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries related to general ledger activity, fixed assets, and accruals.
• Assist in the monthly close process by compiling and analyzing financial data.
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
• Monitor and report on operational expenditures across departments.
• Ensure accounting records are accurate, complete, and in compliance with policy.
• Support audit processes by providing documentation and responding to inquiries.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and other projects as assigned by management.
