Job summary

JCCS in Montana is seeking an Accountant II to assist with engagements, year‑end compilations, audits and other accounting projects under supervision. We value client service, confidentiality, teamwork and timely, accurate work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
• Meets Montana State Board of Public Accountant’s requirements to sit for the CPA examination, preferred.
• Public accounting experience and/or internship experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in engagements, year‑end compilations, audits and other accounting projects under supervision.
• Prepare compilation reports for year‑end, ready for tax preparation, prior to review.
• Assist with audits under the close supervision of senior professional staff.
• Generate data entry for monthly and quarterly accounting and financial statements and distribute 1099s at year end.
• Maintain confidentiality of information related to client, staff and firm operations.
