Job summary

JCCS is seeking an Accountant II in Montana to support tax and accounting projects. You will assist with tax returns and year-end work under supervision, contributing to client service and accurate financial reporting.

The role emphasizes confidentiality, compliance with tax requirements, and collaboration with the team. A Bachelor’s in Accounting and CPA eligibility are preferred, with public accounting internship experience valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited university.
• Meets the Montana State Board of Public Accountant’s requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA examination, preferred.
• Public accounting experience and/or internship experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with tax returns, year-end compilations, and other accounting projects.
• Process payroll data and quarterly payroll reports for various states.
• Prepare and review data entries for documents and tax forms.
• Maintain confidentiality of client, staff, and firm information.
• Support CAS team and coordinate delivery of services as needed.
