Job summary

JCCS PC in Montana seeks an Accountant II to support engagements, year-end compilations, audits and other accounting projects under supervision. You will prepare reports, maintain client confidentiality and assist with audits, contributing to timely, accurate financial services.

You will collaborate with a team to deliver high-quality client service, grow professionally, and adhere to regulatory standards while balancing a positive work environment in Kalispell.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited university.
• Meets Montana State Board CPA exam requirements or eligibility preferred.
• Public accounting experience and/or internship experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain confidentiality of information related to clients and firm operations.
• Prepare compilation reports for year-end, ready for tax prep and review.
• Assist with audits under supervision of senior staff.
• Generate data entry for monthly/quarterly statements and distribute 1099s at year end.
• Ensure compliance with IRS, state and federal requirements and research client questions.
