Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• Two years of accounting experience preferred.
• Proficiency with GAAP and accounting policies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with SAP ERP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in month-end closing functions under limited supervision and meet all closing deadlines.
• Prepare and post journal entries with thorough supporting documentation.
• Analyze accounts and prepare account reconciliations; report inconsistencies to management.
• Perform general accounting analysis.
• Assist with PUC annual reporting, EIA reporting, AGA reporting, and rate cases.
• Assist with external audits and regulatory reviews.
• Support benefits accounting and system upgrades.
