Connexion Systems & Engineering Inc. is seeking an experienced Accountant II for a growing finance team in Lexington, MA. This contract role focuses on general ledger, month-end close, and revenue recognition under ASC 606, with oversight of external consultants and cross-functional collaboration.

You will drive accurate financial reporting, A/R oversight, and process improvements while supporting NetSuite integrations for recently acquired entities; onsite schedule is 9am–5pm, Monday–Friday.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience with emphasis on GL, close, reconciliations, and revenue recognition.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and ASC 606.
• Experience with revenue recognition in Software, SaaS, or Professional Services environments preferred.
• Proficiency with NetSuite and Microsoft Excel; SOX controls experience.

• Coordinate monthly general ledger close, including journal entries, financial statement review, adjusting entries, and reconciliations.
• Support revenue recognition under ASC 606, including complex, multi-element arrangements.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Experience with U.S. GAAP and ASC 606.
• Experience with revenue recognition in Software, SaaS, or Professional Services environments is highly preferred.
• Proficiency with NetSuite and Microsoft Excel.
• Understanding of SOX controls in a public-company environment.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with both accounting and non-accounting stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Prior Big 4 accounting experience.
• Experience supporting acquisitions or integrating newly acquired businesses.
• Experience working with globally distributed accounting teams.
