Job summary

Autonomous Solutions, Inc. (ASI) seeks an Accountant I – AI Automation in Logan, Utah. You will support accurate financial recordkeeping and process automation using AI tools to reduce manual work.

Under supervision of senior accountants, you will handle reconciliations, journals, AP/AR, and reporting while evaluating workflows and implementing automation. This role is ideal for early-career accountants with strong technical aptitude and GAAP knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–2 years of professional accounting/finance experience.
• Working knowledge of GAAP principles and basic accounting processes.
• Experience automating accounting, reporting, or data workflows.
• Proficient in Excel with advanced functions.
• Experience with automation/AI tools (Power Query, Power Automate, Copilot, Python, SQL).
• Familiarity with SAP or willingness to learn.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Good written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions in the general ledger.
• Reconcile subsidiary ledgers and investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare supporting schedules and assist with financial statements.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable with proper documentation.
• Assist in month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Support automation initiatives to improve accounting workflows.
