Henrico County's CRWP is seeking an Accountant I to lead financial management for a complex federal program serving Henrico and seven neighboring jurisdictions. This is the department's only full-time position dedicated to fiscal operations, with responsibility for a $5+ million budget spanning federal, non-federal, and grant funds. You will start with a training and support period alongside the long-tenured incumbent before taking full ownership of the department's financial functions.
Expected hiring range will not exceed $72,502.
This agreement and the continuation of this position are contingent upon the availability of specific special revenue funds.
Bachelor's degree in accounting, and preferably One (1) year of accounting experience; OR, any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
