Job summary

Siemer Milling Company is seeking an accounting professional to support and gain exposure to accounts payable, accounts receivable, grain accounting, fixed assets, and various analyses. You will work with a team and independently, taking ownership of assignments and willing to take on additional workload to broaden your experience.

Starting salary range is $50,000 - $75,000 per year depending on experience. Hours: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm, with overtime and weekend work as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with five or more years of accounting experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Excel and ERP systems.
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to communicate with individuals at all levels.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and handling sensitive information confidentially.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Team-oriented with ability to work independently as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, grain accounting, fixed assets and reconciliations.
• Take ownership of assignments and broaden experience by taking on additional workload.
