Job summary

Siemer Milling Company seeks an experienced accounting professional to support multiple areas including accounts payable, accounts receivable, grain accounting, fixed assets, and analysis. You will take ownership of tasks, work both independently and with a team, and help broaden your experience over time.

Qualified candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, five+ years of accounting experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with five+ years of accounting experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, and using ERP systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to handle sensitive information.
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to communicate with individuals at all levels and work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities and other accounting duties.
• Assist grain accounting, fixed assets, and various analyses and account reconciliation.
• Take ownership of assignments, work independently as needed, and broaden experience over time.

Siemer Milling Companyis a flour miller located in the south central Illinois. We have been located here since 1882. Hours

Monday – Friday 8am-5pm, with overtime and weekend work as needed.

Summary

Support and gain exposure to various areas of accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, grain accounting, fixed assets, various analysis and account reconciliation. Must have ability to work as a team and independently, as needed. Take ownership of work assignments and show willingness to take on additional workload to broaden your experience over time.

Qualifications

• 2. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, with five or more years of accounting experience preferred.
• 3. Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, and using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.

• 5. Individual must be tactful, diplomatic and possess the ability to communicate with individuals at all levels of an organization.
