Job summary

The Save Mart Companies is seeking an Accountant to provide analysis and perform accounting duties in a fast-paced environment. You will maintain records, prepare journal entries, reconcile accounts, and analyze large volumes of data in accordance with GAAP to support executive decision-making.

Responsibilities include analysis of cost centers, inventory, and tax compliance, collaboration on physical inventory, and assisting with audits. Occasional Saturday work and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of GAAP and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports.
• Strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
• Experience with ERP data and financial statements.

Responsibilities

• Analyze store and cost center financial statements for accuracy.
• Manage vendor maintenance in the ERP and ensure data integrity.
• Maintain chart of accounts and ensure tax compliance for locations.
• Compute cost of sales, gross margins and inventory transactions.
• Support internal and external audits and provide financial insights.
