Synergy Staffing in Pittsburgh is seeking an Accounting Analyst to support monthly close, manage journal entries, reconcile balance sheets and income statements, and ensure GAAP compliance across multiple entities.

The role requires accurate cash flow analysis, preparation of client pre-bills and final invoices, and clear communication with stakeholders while maintaining confidentiality and strong internal controls.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in accounting; ideally with a law firm or professional services environment.
• Working knowledge of GAAP.
• Excellent computer skills; MS Office, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience querying, extracting and manipulating data from a data warehouse or BI solution is a plus.
• Strong time management and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Ability to communicate and interact effectively at all organizational levels.
• Maintain client and firm confidentiality.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare monthly ad hoc journal entries with GAAP compliance.
• Perform monthly balance sheet and income statement reconciliations.
• Calculate, analyze and recommend adjustments to financial reserves.
• Ensure accrual and cash basis accounting across multiple entities.
• Perform daily cash reconciliations of all bank activity and resolve discrepancies with internal controls.
• Generate, review, edit and distribute client pre-bills monthly.
• Complete and distribute final invoices on behalf of the Firm.
• Provide client accruals, status updates and budgets.
• Maintain transparent communication with stakeholders, vendors, facilities and colleagues.
• Ensure high quality delivery in a timely manner.
• Be visible and approachable for all Firm members.
• Follow company processes, controls, and policies for Accounting and Business Analyst functions.
