Job summary

Reliable Safety & Flow Corporation is seeking a Staff Accountant at our Oak Brook, IL headquarters. You will ensure financial statements comply with US GAAP, prepare reconciliations, journal entries, and reports while collaborating with leaders to improve processes.

This role requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting (CPA preferred) with 0–2 years of experience, ERP (D365) exposure, and strong communication and analytical skills. Hybrid team culture with close collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CPA preferred.
• 0-2 years experience.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience with a large ERP solution (D365 preferred).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with data analysis tools (Power BI preferred).
• Detail-, deadline- and goal-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain account reconciliations and related data per company policy and US GAAP, collaborating to resolve reconciling items.
• Prepare journal entries and supporting documentation.
• Analyze financial statements and investigate discrepancies and variances.
• Support month-end close process.
• Identify and implement process improvements to drive accuracy and efficiency.
• Prepare and communicate monthly and ad-hoc reports.
• Work with external auditors and support special projects.
