Job summary

Amtec Staffing seeks an experienced accounting professional in California to join our finance team. The role focuses on month-end close, general ledger analysis, and budget reviews for projects, with emphasis on fixed assets.

You'll prepare close entries, rollforwards, and conduct detailed cost analyses, ensuring accuracy of job closing packages and refunds. A Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of accounting experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in accounting, finance or related field.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in fixed assets.
• Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare month end close entries and monthly rollforward schedules.
• Performs financial analysis and reconciliation on various general ledger accounts and monthly/quarterly basis.
• Process monthly Main Extension Contract Refunds, prepares assignments and monitors accuracy.
• Review completeness and accuracy of job closing package information and cost/budget analysis.
• Process special projects, account analysis reports, and other analyses as assigned.
