Job summary

Tryfacta is seeking an Accountant/Fiscal Manager for the Kentucky Department of Juvenile Justice in Frankfort, KY 40601. This temporary contract assignment runs Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm, for 37.5 hours weekly with overtime potential.

Ideal candidates will review confidential records, perform redactions, and coordinate with the DJJ open records team and legal counsel. Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and Adobe tools is required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to review confidential information with high attention to detail.
• Must be familiar with Microsoft 365 apps incl. SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Word, Outlook, Excel and Adobe tools.

Responsibilities

• Review and redact confidential information in DJJ records under Kentucky Open Records Act (KRS 61.870-61.884).
• Collaborate with DJJ open records team to meet deadlines for open records requests.
• Attend meetings with DJJ open records team and legal counsel to discuss requests, processes, and procedures.
• Other administrative duties assigned by HR supervisor or DJJ Commissioner.

Job Summary

Tryfacta is seeking a Accountant/Fiscal Manager position for our client in Frankfort, KY 40601. This is a temporary contract assignment. If you meet the qualifications listed below and are interested,

Duration: Open-Ended

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday and 8:00 am – 4:30 pm

No of Hours: 37.5 Hours Work Week

Overtime possible in certain situations

Department: DJJ

Pay rate: $15.00-$18.00/hr

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to

• Review and propose redactions to confidential information maintained in Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) records for requests received by DJJ pursuant to the Kentucky Open Records Act (KRS 61.870-61.884). 70%
• Collaborate with DJJ open records team on current requests and team operations for consistency and continuity of workflow to meet deadlines for open records requests. 20%
• Attend meetings with DJJ open records team and legal counsel to discuss current requests, processes, and procedures for these requests. 5%
• Other administrative duties assigned by HR supervisor or DJJ Commissioner which may or may not be related to open records requests. 5%

To be considered for this position, you should have

• Must be knowledgeable of the Microsoft 365 suite of applications including SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Must be familiar with and knowledgeable about Adobe applications for editing, redacting, combining, converting, and organizing functions.
• Must be able to remain focused and pay high attention to details on reviewing various record styles.
• Must be able to sit for long periods of time while reviewing documents on a computer monitor and use a computer keyboard.
• This primary office location for this position will be at 1024 Capital Center Drive, Third Floor, Frankfort, KY 40601.
