Job summary

Nextcloud seeks an Accountant / Finance Executive Assistant to support our financial executives in the United States. This role focuses on receivables, travel expenses, foreign payment reporting, and general accounting to ensure smooth financial operations in a distributed, remote work culture.

You will collaborate with team members across finance and operations, contribute to financial planning, and handle back-office tasks with accuracy and reliability.

We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Accountant / Finance Executive Assistant to join our team and play a crucial role in our financial operations. In this position, you will work closely with our financial executives, providing them with the support they need to drive our company’s success.

Tasks

• Receivables management
• Notification of reportable foreign payments
• Dunning process
• Account clarification/reconciliation
• Contact person for customers/ debtors (regarding payment modalities)
• Processing of travel expenses
• Assistance in Financial Planning processes
• General back office tasks

Requirements

• Experience in customer receivables management

• Experience with reportable foreign payments
• Understanding of general accounting

• Fluent in English, ideally German speaker
