Excelsior Nutrition Inc in Anaheim, CA is seeking a Jr Accountant to support the CFO across accounting functions including GL, month-end close, financial reporting, inventory, and tax preparation. Responsibilities include managing AP/AR, bank reconciliations, fixed assets, and assisting auditors.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s in Accounting with 2+ years’ experience, strong MS Office and ERP skills, and excellent communication. Mandarin bilingual preferred.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Advanced working knowledge of ERP systems and accounting software.

This position will complete various duties for the Accounting Department. The Jr Accountant supports the CFO in various accounting functions including, but not limited to the following responsibilities:

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The following responsibilities would characterize the requirements of this position. Must possess the skills necessary to perform the majority of the listed functions:

• General Ledger and Month End Closing
• Financial Reporting and Financial Analysis
• Inventory Management
• Handle Bank Reconciliation and Manage Fixed Assets
• Prepare Sales and Use Tax, Prepare Property Tax
• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Assist CFO/ Controller with cost schedules, Account Reconciliation, etc.
• Internal Audit and Coordinate with External Auditors on various auditing needs

REQUIREMENTS

Competencies

• Bilingual in Mandarin is preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with 2+ years accounting/bookkeeping experience
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access and Outlook)
