Job summary

Victoria’s Secret & Co. is seeking an Accountant to maintain accurate financial records and support closing activities. You’ll reconcile accounts, prepare journal entries, and ensure compliance with GAAP while partnering with business teams to resolve issues and improve processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–3 years of accounting, finance, accounts payable/receivable, or financial reporting experience preferred.
• CPA certification or CPA candidacy is a plus.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and business processes.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and reconcile financial transactions, journal entries, and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes through analysis and documentation.
• Analyze financial and operational data, investigate variances, and provide recommendations.
• Maintain compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and audit standards.
• Partner with internal teams and external vendors to resolve accounting issues and communicate financial information.
• Utilize financial systems to validate, analyze, and report financial data.
• Contribute to process improvements, system enhancements, and ad hoc reporting initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
