Job summary

Pella Windows & Doors of Eastern Iowa is hiring to assist the Accounting Manager with day-to-day activities in accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, invoicing and cash applications. The role may also support month-end closing and reconciliations.

Ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with up to three years of related experience; CPA or CMA is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Accounting from a four-year college or university preferred.
• Zero to three years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination.
• CPA or CMA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and receivable, process invoices, and ensure records are current.
• Manage past due invoices, communicate with customers, and collect payment.
• Maintain general ledger accuracy through journal entries, reconciliations; assist month-end close.
• Assist with closing process at end of month and year.
