Job summary

Carr, Riggs & Ingram, L.L.C. is seeking a detail-oriented CAS bookkeeper to support client accounting services across multiple accounts.

You will handle bookkeeping, payroll and payroll tax, tax compliance, and financial statement preparation, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in client engagements. The ideal candidate has at least two years of bookkeeping experience, a working knowledge of Excel and Word, and familiarity with Sage, QuickBooks or Xero.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of bookkeeping experience.
• Working knowledge of Excel and Word with accounting software.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and general ledger posting.
• Integrity, discretion with confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Handle client accounts assigned under CAS.
• Bookkeeping, payroll and payroll tax, sales and use tax.
• Prepare financial statements and work papers.
• Ensure accuracy and confidentiality; work independently or in a team.
