Job Title: Accountant

Pay: $25 - $29 per hour

Hours: 8am - 5pm (Monday - Friday)

Start Date: ASAP

Position Summary

The Accountant supports daily accounting operations, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and expense reporting. This role partners with management, sales, and operations to ensure accurate financial records, compliance with US GAAP, and continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply and post customer payments to Accounts Receivable and process credit card payments.
• Prepare journal entries and perform general ledger reconciliations and month/quarter-end procedures.
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial records and reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Support expense reporting for sales and operations teams.
• Assist with item maintenance, financial documentation, and process improvements.
• Maintain internal controls in accordance with Financial Policies and US GAAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration with an Accounting emphasis.
• 1–2 years of related accounting experience.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting.
• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
• ERP system experience is a plus.
