Job summary

Orbiss is seeking an Associate Accountant to support daily accounting tasks for our U.S.-based advisory and tax practice. You will process AP/AR, reconcile accounts, and help prepare month-end close with precision and integrity.

You will work with cross-border clients and internal teams, leveraging strong Excel skills and attention to detail. This role offers work-from-home flexibility, competitive benefits, and a collaborative culture built on trust and growth.

Qualifications

• Completion of at least a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• At least 2 years of experience in an international accounting firm.

Responsibilities

• Daily accounting missions.
• Entering AP and AR invoices.
• AP / AR reconciliation.
• Maintaining accounting software integrations.
• Posting vendors payments.
• Bank reconciliation.
• Credit card reconciliation.
• Assisting with month-end closing preparation.
• Maintaining client’s database.
• Maintaining vendor’s files up to date.
• Posting entries to accounting software utilizing import from other software.
• Analyze differences and provide recommendations.
• Posting and reconciling entries from reimbursement tools.
• Report analyses.

As an Associate Accountant, you will be responsible for:

• Daily accounting missions

• Entering AP and AR invoices.

• Report analyses

If you have:

• Completion of at least a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• At least 2 years of experience in an international accounting firm

• Expertise in Excel, demonstrating proficiency in advanced functions and data analysis
• Ability to respect deadlines and proactively communicate in advance if unable to meet them.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously while maintaining a strong sense of teamwork.
• A commitment to maintaining a high level of integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and solve problems effectively

• Proficiency in French
