Job summary

The Garden Medical Spa in Voorhees, NJ is seeking a dedicated Accountant for a full-time on-site position. You will manage day-to-day financial operations, including AP/AR, GL entries, payroll, and bank reconciliations, while preparing financial statements and monitoring budgets.

You will work with management to improve processes and support audits or tax compliance. Prior healthcare or service industry experience is a plus, and ADP knowledge is desirable.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Voorhees, NJ. The Accountant is responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations, and inventory. The role includes preparing financial statements, monitoring budgets, and assisting with month-end and year-end closing activities. The Accountant will process payroll, maintain accurate financial records, help ensure compliance with relevant regulations, and support the leadership team with financial analysis and reporting and order inventory. The position also involves collaborating with management to improve financial processes and supporting external auditors or tax professionals as needed.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated proficiency in core accounting functions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, and financial reporting.
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., ADP), spreadsheets, and general office productivity tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping.
• Ability to interpret financial data, prepare reports, and communicate findings clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
• Knowledge of basic tax principles, payroll processes, and relevant financial regulations or standards.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with clinical, administrative, and management teams.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism when handling sensitive financial information.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred; relevant experience in a healthcare or service-based environment is a plus.
