Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking an Accountant to join our Global Operations Finance team, where you will own and process critical financial data for closing the books worldwide. You will interact with local and regional controllership teams, support cash, banking, closing and intercompany activities, and ensure timely, accurate accounting across systems.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or related field, at least 5 years of accounting experience, proficiency with MS Office,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Math or Business.
• Fluent in English; Turkmen at least intermediate, Russian is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Support overall office activities and personnel organization during planned/unplanned events.
• Collect and process accounts payable invoices and arrange payments per schedule.
• Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly reports, including national bank reports and internal reports.
• Collect timesheets and cost-related documents.
• Interact with auditors and respond to queries as needed.
• Put accurate accounting data into internal financial systems.

We are in contact with local and regional business controllership teams. Our services include preparatory and closing activities in Cash and Banking, Closing & Reporting, Intercompany areas. Partner with the best You will process/monitor outgoing payments and make cost monitoring to provide support for the business

• Supporting overall office activities, personnel organization during planned/unplanned activities
• Collecting and process Accounts payable invoices, arrange payments run in accordance with payment schedule
• Preparing and submitting monthly / quarterly reports, including National bank reports, internal reports
• Collecting time sheets and costs related documents
• Interacting with and responding to auditor queries, internal and external as necessary
• Putting accurate accounting data to internal financial programs

Fuel your passion

• Have a Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in either Finance, Accounting, Economics, Math or Business
• Have fluent Turkmen minimum intermediate English, Russian is a plus
• Be proficient in MS Office
• Have minimum 5 years of experience in Accounting
• Have experience with 1C (SAP is preferable)
