Stoughton Health seeks an Accountant to join the Accounting department on a Full-Time basis at Stoughton Hospital. This in-person role supports monthly closing, reconciliations, and reporting requirements.

The ideal candidate has an Associate's Degree in Accounting (Bachelor's preferred) and accounting experience, especially in healthcare or nonprofit settings; strong MS Office skills are expected.

Stoughton Health has an excellent opportunity for an Accountant to join the Accounting department on a Full-Time basis. The Accountant provides support in the Accounting Department by completing the accounting for several entities on a monthly basis, assisting with general ledger account reconciliations, and reporting requirements.

Position Requirements

• Required Education: Associate's Degree in Accounting
• Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• Professional Experience: Requires experience in accounting. Prefer prior related experience in a healthcare or non-profit setting.
• Computer Competency: Basic Computer Skills are expected for this position.
• Microsoft Office Suite Skills: Intermediate Skills - Able to perform fairly detailed formatting, create Word and Excel files, write formulas and prepare applicable charts for reports.

Work Shift

• Full-Time, 1.0 FTE
• 40 hours per week
• Scheduled Days: Monday - Friday
• Shift: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
