Job summary

Stoughton Health has an excellent opportunity for an Accountant to join the Accounting department on a full‑time basis. The Accountant provides support in the Accounting Department by completing the accounting for several entities on a monthly basis, assisting with general ledger account reconciliations, and reporting requirements.

This in-person role at Stoughton Hospital requires an Associate’s Degree in Accounting (Bachelor’s preferred), prior accounting experience, and solid MS Office

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in accounting is required.
• Experience in accounting is required; healthcare or non-profit preferred.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office; ability to format reports and write basic formulas.

Responsibilities

• Account for multiple entities on a monthly basis.
• Assist with general ledger reconciliations and reporting.
• Support accounting department with routine accounting duties.
• Collaborate with team to ensure accurate financial records.

Job Summary

Stoughton Health has an excellent opportunity for an Accountant to join the Accounting department on a full‑time basis. The Accountant provides support in the Accounting Department by completing the accounting for several entities on a monthly basis, assisting with general ledger account reconciliations, and reporting requirements.

Position Requirements

• Education: Associate’s Degree in Accounting (required); Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (preferred).
• Professional Experience: Requires experience in accounting. Prefer prior related experience in a healthcare or non‑profit setting.
• Computer Competency: Basic computer skills are expected.
• Microsoft Office Suite: Intermediate skills – able to perform fairly detailed formatting, create Word and Excel files, write formulas and prepare applicable charts for reports.
• Work Shift: Full‑Time, 1.0 FTE; 40 hours per week; Monday‑Friday; 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
