Job summary

Amphenol Corporation's Amphenol Communications Solutions division in Nashua, NH is seeking an Accountant to join the team. You will perform month-end close activities, prepare balance sheet reconciliations, and support monthly financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis.

This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, 2–4 years of experience, and knowledge of US GAAP. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX or ERP systems and advanced Excel are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance is required.
• CPA certification or progress towards CPA preferred.
• 2–4 years of accounting or finance experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX or other ERP systems preferred.
• Proficient Excel skills with PivotTables and data analysis.
• Strong communication and cross-department collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, account analysis, and preparation of supporting schedules.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations, investigate variances, resolve outstanding items, and ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies.
• Support monthly financial reporting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.
• Maintain Microsoft Dynamics AX and BPC financial structures, reporting hierarchies, financial dimensions, exchange rates, and related system configurations.
• Develop, maintain, and automate recurring financial reports and reconciliation tools to improve efficiency, accuracy, and reporting consistency.
• Manage the monthly transfer, validation, and reconciliation of financial data between Microsoft Dynamics AX and BPC to ensure data integrity and support month end close process.
• Prepare audit documentation and provide supporting information for internal and external audit requests.
• Assist with maintaining internal controls and SOX compliance requirements.
• Partner with Finance, Operations, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Corporate Accounting to resolve accounting issues and support business operations.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and support special projects to enhance accounting processes and operational efficiency.

Our products help to enable the electronics revolution and remain a key enabler for all the major Tier 1 OEMs globally. We have design, sales, and manufacturing locations globally and are currently seeking an Accountant to join our team located in Nashua, NH.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• 2-4 years of accounting or finance experience in a public accounting firm or commercial environment
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX or other ERP systems preferred
• Intermediate to advances Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, formulas, and data analysis
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high degree of accuracy
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
