Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions in Etters, PA, seeks an Assistant Controller to lead monthly close, manage a team, and consolidate results across global manufacturing sites. You will drive KPIs, support budgeting and forecasting, and ensure accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field; CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
  • 6–10 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, consolidation, and planning.
  • Experience in a global business setting and direct supervisory experience.
  • Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems; experience with Power BI or similar tools.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the monthly accounting close process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with policies and standards.
  • Lead and manage a team of accounting professionals, assigning workloads and reviewing deliverables.
  • Collaborate with global site finance teams to consolidate results across multiple sites.
  • Conduct variance analysis and manage KPIs, including cost structures, margins, and operational metrics.
  • Support monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and strategic planning processes.
  • Manage inventory, fixed assets, and accounts receivable/payable.
  • Maintain financial data in the corporate reporting system and ensure accuracy.
  • Coordinate with site teams to standardize practices and reporting across locations.
  • Act as liaison between BU finance and site teams for timely communication and expectations.

Position: Assistant Controller
Location: Etters, PA

Amphenol High Speed Products Group is the market leader for high speed, high bandwidth electrical connectors for the Telecom/Datacom market (Mobile Networks, Storage, Servers, Routers, Switches, etc.). Our products help to enable the electronics revolution and remain a key enabler for all the major Tier 1 OEMs globally. We have design, sales, and manufacturing locations globally and are currently seeking an Assistant Controller to join our team in Etters, PA.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the monthly accounting close process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and full compliance with company policies, procedures, and accounting standards.
  • Lead and manage a team of accounting professionals, assigning workloads, reviewing deliverables, and ensuring adherence to accounting standards and internal controls.
  • Collaborate with global site finance teams to collect, validate, and consolidate financial results across multiple manufacturing sites.
  • Conduct detailed financial variance analysis and manage key performance indicators (KPIs), including cost structures, product margins, and operational metrics, delivering actionable insights to the Business Unit Controller to support cost reduction and profitability improvement.
  • Support monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and strategic planning processes.
  • Manage and control inventory, fixed assets, and accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
  • Manage the input and maintenance of financial data for the business unit in the corporate reporting system, ensuring accuracy and adherence to corporate financial reporting requirements.
  • Coordinate with site teams to drive consistency in accounting practices, reporting, and forecasting across all locations.
  • Act as a key liaison between business unit finance and site teams, ensuring timely communication and alignment on reporting requirements, deadlines and financial expectations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field; CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred
  • 6-10 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, consolidation, and planning
  • Experience working in a global business setting
  • Direct supervisory experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is required
  • Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
