Job Description:

We’re seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to support our day-to-day financial operations. This role reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and plays a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts, and supporting strategic financial decisions. Given our small team structure, we’re looking for someone who is proactive, a quick learner, and can operate with minimal supervision. Recent graduates are welcome to apply!

Responsibilities:

• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Prepare journal entries and financial statements
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and job cost tracking
• Perform invoice entry and oversee job costing
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
• Collaborate with vendors, subcontractors, and external partners
• Assist the CFO with various financial projects and reporting

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
• CPA certification preferred but not required
• 0–3+ years of accounting experience (recent graduates encouraged to apply)
• Experience with job costing or construction accounting a plus
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (Sage preferred)
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
