Summary

Connect Search is hiring an Accountant in Madison. This position offers a hybrid work from home schedule of one day per week.

Responsibilities

• Provides general ledger support to hotels, including reconciling accounts, verifying that the
• PMS matches the general ledger, calculating accruals, reviewing property accounts receivable reports, reconciling intercompany payables, preparing sales tax returns, and completing quarterly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Performs bank reconciliation duties, monitors and evaluates internal controls at hotel properties, transfers cash for payables with the review and approval of vendor trial balances, and monitors property cash flow.
• Assists the Senior Property Accountant by overseeing cash and supporting sales tax filings for assigned properties. Also, assisting in quarter-end and year-end balance sheet reconciliations and other necessary tie-outs for several properties.
• Produces and reviews monthly profit and loss statements. Completes financial reporting and analysis as needed by each property.
• Collaborates with other departments and hotel teammates to complete the annual operational budget.
• Provide accounting and operations teammates with training on property-specific accounting items.
• Assist, participate, and collaborate with other teammates as needed, including other duties as assigned.
