LeoForce, based in the Energy sector, is seeking an experienced Accountant in Kershaw, SC to manage core accounting operations and ensure GAAP compliance. The role requires strong expertise in journal entries, AP, AR, and reconciliations, with emphasis on accuracy and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all aspects of our accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Ensure compliance with all internal controls and assist in the development and implementation of new policies and procedures as necessary.
• Provide comprehensive audit support, including the preparation of all necessary documentation and liaising with external auditors.
• Perform complex account reconciliations, identifying and resolving any discrepancies promptly and accurately.
• Prepare accurate financial statements and reports for senior management, providing insightful analysis and commentary as required.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes, improve financial reporting, and drive overall business performance.
• Stay current with industry trends and regulatory changes, ensuring our accounting practices remain compliant and up-to-date.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Accountant to join our team in the Energy industry. The successful candidate will play a critical role in our financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in our processes. This role requires a deep understanding of accounting principles and a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in journal entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, internal controls, audit support, and account reconciliations.

• Solid understanding of accounting principles, GAAP, and regulations.
• Proven experience with journal entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, internal controls, audit support, and account reconciliations.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide meaningful insights.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and integrity in all work.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey financial information to non-financial colleagues.
• Proficient in the use of accounting software and other relevant computer applications.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
• Knowledge of the Energy industry would be a significant advantage.
