Job summary

Genesis Systems, Inc. seeks an accountant with public or private accounting experience to join a fast-paced team. The role requires multitasking, attention to detail, and strong Excel/IT application familiarity.

You will handle bookkeeping, tax, and accounting tasks, assist in administrative functions, and coordinate with foreign Chartered Accountants and Company Secretaries while partnering with executive management to drive corporate goals.

Operating nationally and internationally, the group has been in existence for over 39 years and continues to expand its operations.

For this role, we are seeking a talented accountant with public or private accounting experience and a proven ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.

We are looking for an individual to join our team who:

• Has experience with bookkeeping, tax, and accounting tasks preferred
• Has excellent time management and organizational skills
• Is detail-oriented
• Has excellent computer skills and is familiar with Excel, Accounting and IT applications and systems
• Is able to work independently with a limited amount of supervision
• Is able to communicate effectively both verbally and written

The Individual Will Be Responsible For

• Planning, reviewing and completing bookkeeping, tax, and accounting tasks
• Assisting in firm administrative functions assigned by management
• Interacting with foreign Chartered Accountants and Company Secretaries
• Interfacing with executive management and in-house counsel to develop and implement comprehensive corporate goals
