  • Clear, professional communication skills; comfort growing into client-facing conversations.

Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate monthly financial statements for an assigned portfolio of community associations, hitting a consistent monthly close deadline.
  • Budgeting: Build and maintain annual budgets, including for large-scale, master-planned communities with multiple product types, differing assessment rates, and budgets that evolve over time as new homes come online.
  • Assessments & Collections: Support the assessment billing and collections process, ensuring accurate posting and reconciliation of homeowner payments.
  • Vendor & AP Support: Process and reconcile vendor payments tied to community operations.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile bank and general ledger accounts monthly; research and resolve discrepancies.
  • Client Communication: Respond to routine financial questions from community boards and, over time, present and explain financial statements directly to clients.
  • Process & Systems: Maintain accurate records in our accounting platform; flag opportunities to improve efficiency as the portfolio and complexity grow.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with community managers and internal teams to ensure financials reflect what's actually happening in each community.
