PCL Construction Services, Inc. in Glendale, California is seeking an Accountant (13464) to support project accounting, process accounts payable and generate timely financial reports.

You will assemble client billing packages, assist with forecasting and budgeting, prepare bank deposits and cash receipts, and partner with project teams to ensure accurate cost tracking. • High school diploma.
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in a related field is considered an asset.
• Some student experience or 6 months to 1 year of accounting or administrative experience is preferred.
• Exposure to project forecasting and budgeting.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles, including maintenance of ledgers and cash flows.
• Exposure to project costing principles, recoveries, insurance, and contract/subcontract requirements.
• Exposure to subcontract purchase order terms, including insurance and subcontractor default insurance requirements.
• Basic understanding of lien rights.
• Ability to act with the required discretion when handling confidential information.
• Understanding of Microsoft Office Suite and experience with accounting software is an asset.
