The ideal candidate will handle federal and state reconciliations, grant invoicing, and month-end close, with strong emphasis on reporting, regulatory compliance, and systems support.

Qualifications

• Governmental accounting experience is required.
• Experience with federal grant drawdowns and compliance reporting.
• Workday Financial Management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage governmental and grant accounting tasks for financial aid, restricted funds, and foundation accounting.
• Prepare financial reporting, month-end close, and regulatory compliance documentation.
• Oversee cash management, receivables, bank reconciliations, and deferred revenue accounting.
• Support auxiliary operations, special projects, and systems integration within the finance team.

This position performs advanced, professional accounting duties supporting financial aid and grant accounting, restricted funds administration, cash and receivables management, financial reporting, bank reconciliations, drawdown activities, deferred revenue and foundation accounting, and institutional compliance requirements. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary accounting resource for federal and state financial aid reconciliations, grant invoicing and receivables, restricted fund accounting, auxiliary accounting, and assigned special revenue programs. Position: Full time, Temporary to Permanent position! Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Annual Salary: $47,000 - $50,000 Benefits: Excellent benefits package upon permanent hire!
