Job summary

CFS is seeking an Accountant to join our finance team in Des Plaines, IL. The role focuses on accurate payroll processing, journal entries, and timely month-end close to support our growing manufacturing operations.

The ideal candidate will have payroll systems experience (ADP Workforce Now) and a solid grasp of debits and credits. SAP/ERP familiarity is a plus in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with ADP Workforce Now for payroll processing.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting concepts including debits and credits.
• Experience with SAP/ERP systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll.
• Prepare journal entries and reconciliations for payroll GL balances.
• Audit and post expense reports.
• Assist with month-end close.
