Job summary

Tri Tower Telecom, a technology focused company, is seeking an Accountant responsible for maintaining financial records, tracking assets, liabilities, and P&L. The role includes invoicing, vendor billing, payroll support, and ensuring GAAP compliance.

The candidate should have a related degree or equivalent experience, with proficiency in NetSuite and Avalara considered a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred, or related field.
• 3 years of relevant experience with a high school diploma acceptable.
• Experience with NetSuite and Avalara is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs general accounting and related duties for the organization.
• Handles customer invoicing, inquiries, reminders, and reconciliations.
• Manages vendor billing inquiries and reconciliations.
• Maintains knowledge of GAAP and accounting practices.
• Supports HR team including payroll and admin tasks.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

The Accountant is responsible for preparing and maintaining financial recordsto track the organization’s assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liabilities, and other related financial activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

To perform this job successfully, an individual must perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

• Performs general accounting and other related duties for the organization.
• Customer invoicing, inquiries, payment reminders, and account reconciliation.
• Vendor billing, inquiries, and account reconciliation.
• Maintains knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures.
• Supports HR team including payroll and specific administrative tasks
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred, or related field or 3 years of experience with high school diploma.
  Public or corporate accounting experience preferred.
  Experience in NetSuite and/or Avalara a plus.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of general financial accounting and cost accounting.
• Understanding of and the ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software, and accounting software.
